I know that probably Epson’s shitty installer is the problem, but I don’t really get why I can’t cancel Windows 10 automatic driver installation. Then your manufacturer’s disk should work just leave your printer connected after uninstalling it. Thanks for marking this as the answer. This is conflicting with Epson’s installer and not stqndard it finish correctly. Thanks for marking this as the answer. Thing is, every time I turn on the printer, Windows immediately starts installing its own driver, and there is no button to cancel it, only to close it and let it finish.

Did this solve your problem? It is possible that their software may not work entirely as expected in Windows 10, however unless the explicitly support it. Keep it civil and on topic.
After downloading and installing Epson Esc P Standard 2 V4 Class, or the driver installation manager, take a few minutes to send us a report: So, is there a way to actually cancel or stop Windows driver installation so I can actually use the manufacturer’s driver? I tried what you linked, but there was no Driver tab in the properties of the printer in the Device Manager. You could try running the compatibility troubleshooter on the installer, however.

What I’m gonna do now is to contact Epson to see what is their take on the matter, although I don’t expect a really good reply from them, due to the branch I will be contacting Latin America.
